Discover our highly stable, heavy-duty logistics units engineered for tough conditions and long-term durability.
Modern mega-projects, wind energy systems, and heavy mechanical structures demand heavy haulage solutions that bypass traditional size and load limits. Standard flatbed configurations fall short when handling non-dismantlable cargo, such as 80-meter wind turbine blades, long refinery columns, and heavy mining excavators. In this context, the extendable lowboy trailer serves as a critical link in global industrial logistics.
Historically, transporting oversized loads involved high risks and complex logistical permits. Today, the integration of high-tensile telescoping main beams allows transporters to adapt the load platform’s length to the payload. China has emerged as a key manufacturing hub for these units. By using advanced structural engineering, China-based factories supply durable, heavy-duty extendable lowboys designed for reliable performance in harsh conditions across Africa, the Middle East, Southeast Asia, and Latin America.

We build safe, durable, and lightweight vehicles by combining in-house research with imported design concepts, advanced equipment, and automated production processes. Our main beams utilize a double-web design made of Q460C high-strength steel to ensure high torsional stiffness while minimizing trailer tare weight.
Through years of engineering under tough road conditions, Shodailer has developed specialized trailer platforms designed for heavy logistics corridors. We continuous analyze feedback from mining companies, equipment rental agencies, and long-distance logistics firms to refine chassis stress distribution and axle load balance.
Our trailers comply with international structural safety standards. With CCC, CE, and ISO9001 compliance, our export trailers are engineered to meet the axle load laws, braking standards, and coupling systems required for legal operation in various international jurisdictions.
We implement a strict multi-point inspection process that covers incoming steel testing, ultrasonic weld inspection, paint thickness measurement, and structural load testing. This rigorous control ensures each trailer leaving our factory can operate safely under design load limits.
We are experts in international logistics and ship trailers in CKD (Completely Knocked Down) and SKD (Semi Knocked Down) formats. This approach reduces freight costs, fits into standard shipping containers, lowers local import tariffs, and simplifies final assembly at the target destination.

Shipping fully assembled lowbed trailers across continents involves high RO-RO (Roll-on/Roll-off) or breakbulk freight fees. Additionally, many countries apply heavy import duties on pre-built trailers to shield local manufacturers. To address these cost challenges, our CKD and SKD shipping models provide a structured, cost-efficient solution.
Under the CKD system, the extendable lowboy is disassembled into core modules, including the main telescopic beam, side decks, axle clusters, suspension blocks, and air systems. These parts are systematically packaged to fit standard 40ft High Cube containers. This method significantly reduces shipping volume and lowers freight rates compared to shipping fully assembled trailers on open decks.
Upon arrival at the destination port, the local assembly facility uses our detailed blueprints and alignment jigs to weld and assemble the trailer. This model qualifies for lower import tariffs while helping to create local manufacturing jobs.
The SKD option is ideal for regions with limited local welding and assembly facilities. We pre-weld the main chassis, paint the structure, and run basic system tests. We then detach the axle units, tires, gooseneck, and auxiliary components to pack them tightly into shipping containers.
This approach allows local distributors to complete final assembly using simple bolt-on processes and wheel mounts, avoiding the need for heavy welding jigs or painting booths, while still securing notable shipping savings.
Learn how agricultural wholesalers, bulk material suppliers, and factory managers use our trailers to optimize transport cycles and lower overhead costs.
Grain wholesaler: Uses semi-trailers to transport wheat/sorghum from production areas to inter-provincial markets. Single-trip load 60% more than ordinary trucks, unit freight down 35%, saving 2 trips’ cost monthly.
Construction material supplier: Semi-trailers transport cement/steel to inter-city construction sites. No multiple round-trips, single-trip efficiency up 40%, saving ~280 USD monthly on labor & fuel.
Feed factory: Semi-trailers transport soybean meal/corn from raw material areas to factory. Single trip holds 3x ordinary truck load, transport cycle down 50%, warehouse cost cut 25%.
For operations focused on international ports and rough road terrains, such as the Dar Es Salaam Port transit corridor, these configurations provide key operational benefits. Shodailer lowbed designs help transport companies safely deliver oversized machinery across long distances, maintaining stability even on unpaved roads.

To Create Excellent Products, To Build World Brand, To be Century Enterprise.
To build reliable extendable lowbed trailers, careful material selection and structural calculation are essential. When extended, the central spine of the trailer faces high bending stress. Without appropriate materials and welding methods, structural fatigue can cause long-term deformation.
We replace standard structural steel with Q460C or higher steel grades for our main structural components. With a yield strength exceeding 460 MPa, this material provides a high strength-to-weight ratio. This helps reduce tare weight, allowing transport operators to carry heavier payloads while complying with legal axle limits.
The main beams are welded using automated submerged arc welding systems. This process ensures deep penetration and clean weld passes, minimizing the risk of internal voids or structural cracks under heavy load conditions.
For trailers longer than 15 meters, maneuvering through tight roundabouts and narrow country lanes becomes difficult. Our technical roadmap incorporates forced hydraulic steering systems, linking the gooseneck's rotation to the rear axles.
This configuration helps the rear axles track the tractor's path, reducing tire scrub and improving vehicle control. Our telescoping sections use heavy-duty brass sliding pads and multi-point pneumatic locking systems to let operators adjust the deck length safely.
